The All-Ireland Podcast Awards return in 2026 for their second year as part of SOUND.WAVES
The All-Ireland Podcast Awards celebrate the creativity, originality and impact of Ireland’s vibrant podcasting community. Returning in 2026 as part of SOUND.WAVES., the Awards recognise outstanding podcasts across 13 diverse categories, from current affairs and documentary storytelling to sport, culture, business, audio drama and more. Join us in Limerick on 11 November 2026 as we celebrate the voices, stories and creators shaping Ireland’s podcast landscape.
How to Enter
REVIEW AWARDS INFORMATION
Review the Award categories, eligibility requirements and judging criteria.
CHECK ELIGIBILITY
Confirm that your podcast has a clear connection to Ireland through an eligible host, producer or production location. Irish-language podcasts are eligible.
REGISTER ON THE PORTAL
Create an individual account and provide your name, email address, phone number, organisation/company/network, if applicable, and password.
SELECT YOUR CATEGORY
Select the relevant Award category before completing your entry form. Review the category description, judging criteria and submission requirements.
COMPLETE ENTRY DETAILS
Provide the required entrant and podcast information, including podcast title, publisher/network, hosts, producers, website and podcast platform links.
UPLOAD SUPPORTING MATERIAL
Upload one audio submission of up to 15 minutes, podcast artwork, and provide the full episode and podcast feed/homepage links. Include supporting written information of up to 500 words.
REVIEW & SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY
Confirm that all information supplied is accurate, that you have authority to submit the podcast, and that you agree to the Awards terms and privacy policy. Pay the €25 entry fee and submit your entry.
SUBMISSION CONFIRMATION
Once submitted, you will receive an automatic confirmation email and your entry will receive a unique reference number. The submitted entry will then be locked.
AWARD CATEGORIES
WHO SHOULD ENTER
The Awards are open to podcasts with a clear connection to Ireland. A podcast is eligible where the host or producer holds an Irish passport,
the host or producer is resident in Ireland, or the podcast is primarily produced on the island of Ireland. Irish-language podcasts are also eligible.
The Audio Publisher of the Year Award recognises a publisher, broadcaster, network, production company or audio
organisation demonstrating outstanding work across its podcast output.
